Pablo Picasso
Pablo Ruiz y Picasso, also known as Pablo Picasso was a Spanish painter, sculptor and poet, as well as many more things. He is known for co-founding the Cubist movement and the co-invention of collage.
He was born on the 25 October 1881 and died 8 April 1973. He was born and raised in Málaga, Spain before moving to France. Picasso bent the rules of painting during his time, He introduced Cubist artwork to France, which influenced many people, even the people of modern times. In 1895, Picasso moved to Barcelona where his dad (Ruiz) attended its School Of Fine Arts. Ruiz persuaded the officials at the academy to allow his son to take an entrance exam for the advanced class at the academy. The process often took students about a month, but Picasso completed it in a week, granting his immediate access just age 13. Picasso's father and uncle decided to send Picasso to Madrid's Royal Academy of San Fernando, the country's best art school. Picasso's painting are still making an impression to different artist's around the world. With his paintings hung in the different, world famous, galleries, his art is sure to still make a difference/impression to many generations to come. |
